Hull BHS steel Three Ships by Alan Boyson

Our tribute to the late Alan Boyson’s amazing mosaic mural displayed on the BHS building in Hull City Centre.
Such an important part of Hull’s rich trawling history, commissioned by the Hull and East Riding Co-operative Society for the exterior of the end of their new store, the three ships mural depicts three stylised trawlers, commemorating Hull’s fishing fleet, It also includes the letters
“H U L L” in the ships’ masts. These appear fortuitously and not through deliberate design.

We have permission from Alan Boyson’s family to use his design.

So now you can have your very own version cut from 2mm mild steel at home. Measuring 390mm x 345mm, if displayed outside it will rust over time.
